LFW Street Snaps...

I love street style and not to be biased or anything but I think Brits really know how to rock it. These are just a selection of some of my favourite street snaps from London Fashion Week (courtsey of the lovely Topshop). I am loving the oversized boyfriend blazer and the leather skirt!

LFW Michael Van Der Ham...

Michael Van Der Ham's collection is one of my favorites so far from LFW.. and I must see we have seen lots of beatiful trends that I can't wait to see all over the high street come Spring! I watched the Michael Van Der Ham show streamed live from the Topshop show space and I loved what I was seeing from the first outfit. This collection looks good enough to eat with the candy coloured palette! I am loving the hybrid geometric prints and I hope I will be seeing much more of this look next season! What do you think?

More Topshop Unique SS12...

I know I have already done a post on Topshop Unique SS12 but I can't get enough of this collection! I love the styling...absolutely stunning. I always love to see backstage photographs from a show...its great to see the planning that goes into a show like this!

Topshop Unique SS12...

 

I am always amazed by Topshop Unique and it always happens to be my favourite collection from LWF and no surprises I love this collection. 

Inspired by the glitz and glam of ancient Egypt with a modern urban twist. It looks very 90's and hip with lots of gold, sporty silhouettes and visas to flamboyant evening gowns. As a print designer I couldn't help but to be drawn in by the beautiful prints such as a gold foil print of sacred beetles to hieroglyphic prints.

I must also say that I love those nails and can't wait to have a go at doing my own.

Bright Young Things...

I went to London at the weekend and couldn't help but notice this very unusual window display at Selfridges on Oxford Street. The windows were dressed by a selection of Britain's young talented designers who are definitely ones to watch specialising in menswear, womenswear, accessories and art and design. Limited edition pieces have are also available at London and Manchester pop-up shops and online. The work is very conceptual and interesting. As a designer I find these displays very inspiring in informing my own work. I would like to bring more conceptual ideas into my work.
