Spring Summer 09 Collection
IT was a lesson in American history - fashion, feminist and social - at Marc Jacobs’ spring/summer 2009 show at the Lexington Avenue Armory. His collection consisted of ruffled skirts, aprons, plaid country girl blouses,, pinafored, bustles and forties power-shouldered pant suits. This collection has an almost WWII feel and images of the Great Depressions.

I really like the palette used in this collection and I feel that the textures are realy nice but I don't really like the styling of the models and the garments themselves. I feel that this look could have been a lot stronger.
